Before starting treatment
Naftalan therapy is not suitable for everyone. A course is only prescribed after a medical examination. If you have a chronic condition, are pregnant, or take medication regularly, please say so when you book.
General contraindications
This list is not exhaustive and is for general information. The final decision rests with a doctor.
- Conditions in an acute phase, and fever
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Malignant tumours
- Severe kidney or liver failure
- Blood disorders and a tendency to bleed
- Individual intolerance to naftalan oil
